London
Representatives of the IT company dots. will participate in a hybrid mobility event for the mobility and traffic technology professionals at the Embassy of Latvia in London on April 28.

As one of the leading technology companies in Latvia, dots. will provide insights into their own project experience, where the latest technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) are used to ensure efficient and reliable data processing in transport systems. The data obtained is used to improve the capacity of traffic authorities, law enforcement and traffic control centres. As a participant of the event, dots. will facilitate a discussion on the adoption of best practices in both countries.

The event is organized by the UK association for the promotion of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in partnership with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA). The event aims to support the UK and Latvian stakeholders in building new partnerships, as well as explore new business development between the countries.
It will feature presentations by representatives of leading institutions and companies from the UK and Latvian ITS sectors, a panel discussion including audience participation, as well as discussions between companies and organizations from both countries. The event will be opened by Ivita Burmistre, Latvian Ambassador to the UK and Steven Norris, President of ITS UK and former UK Transport Minister.

dots. will present the possibilities of the AI solution Fits. in the development of the transport system in Latvia and the UK. Fits. comprises four different products – Fits.safety, Fits.toll, Fits.hub and Fits.vision. All products are designed for deployment in urban environments where road safety is essential. Fits. allows the acquisition of data on the traffic flow count and classification, high-accuracy vehicle speed detection, left turn compliance and others.

The event will also entail One to One meetings / “speed dating” sessions, giving the opportunity to meet key Latvian organizations and stakeholders in short one-to-one dedicated sessions. This will be held on a special platform and will require a pre-booked meeting.

Since it will be a hybrid event, there will also be options to join the activities online, including B2B meetings.

Other participants from Latvia will include LMT, Latvia’s biggest mobile operator, as well as a representative of “Rail Baltica”, the largest greenfield transport infrastructure project in the Baltics.

Companies and organizations can apply to attend the event in person or remotely.
