Fits Traffic participated in Europe’s first real-time cross-border digital freight information control, held on September 9, 2025, near the Estonia–Latvia border under the eFTI4EU (eFTI4EU Project) Baltic Transport Corridor pilot.
As the Latvian technology partner, Fits Traffic joined forces with the Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) and international stakeholders to test a fully digital freight solution in real conditions — with an actual truck and shipment.
What made this groundbreaking?
- Freight data flowed digitally from ERP systems directly to authorities,
- Border crossing was paperless and smooth,
- Control processes were faster and more accurate,
- Logistics moved one step closer to true sustainability.
This pilot was the first real-life implementation using the full eFTI regulatory framework – gates, platforms, APIs, and authority applications — all in action.
We’re proud to be driving innovation in logistics and preparing for the 2027 EU eFTI regulation rollout.
